Business & Community Partners

Students Work at Hollis + Miller

In the Shawnee Mission School District, success is achieved through collaboration.

The district relies on a strong community to help students reach their full potential. Countless businesses, civic groups, and organizations participate in partnership programs that provide everything from financial support and equipment to tutoring and mentoring. These partnerships are essential as we all work to prepare students for college and career.

State and national student organizations are available in each high school. These programs connect classroom learning with leadership and career opportunities.

Shawnee Mission is always looking for new ways to partner with local businesses and groups to help students succeed.  Please E-mail volunteer@smsd.org or call (913) 993-6447 to get started.
