Summer Lunch Bunch

Hunger does not take a vacation in the summer time in the Shawnee Mission School District. We offer free lunches for all children ages 1-18. These meals are funded entirely by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Children need to be present in order to receive a meal and the meal must be consumed onsite. The Shawnee Mission food services department will prepare and serve these lunches during the summer. See Summer Lunch Bunch Flyer here.

Free lunch for children is available from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday.

All children are welcome to come inside the cafeteria to eat at Summer Lunch Bunch. Adults may purchase a lunch for $5.00 - cash only.
