If you answered yes, the students at Broadmoor Bistro have you covered. Shawnee Mission Culinary Arts students are lending a hand to holiday food prep. They are taking orders at: https://everythingbuttheturkey.com/.
The menu includes apple, pumpkin, gluten free pumpkin, southern pecan, butterscotch praline streusel apple, and chocolate cream pies. The sides include sage bread stuffing, gluten free sage bread stuffing, macaroni and cheese and herb potato casserole. There are breakfast items including pecan coffee cake, breakfast casserole and cinnamon rolls, along with the Bristro’s famous English muffins.
Orders must be placed by noon on Monday, November 23. Customers may pick up items prepared by Shawnee Mission students from 2 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24 and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25 in the Broadmoor Bistro at the Center for Academic Achievement, 8200 W. 71st St.
