Remember: Pitch Contest Draft Entries Due Friday

Reminder: The deadline to enter The Next Great Idea pitch competition is Friday, March 26. All that needs to be completed by Friday is the entry form with a video and rough draft of the student idea. There will be more time and support provided by industry mentors for the students to further develop their idea and pitch prior to the competition on May 1.

It’s time to enter now in one of the district’s biggest events of the year: The SMSD Research and Development Forum.

 Students are invited to submit their innovative ideas to address a   problem they would like to solve for a chance to win monetary prizes.   Don’t forget- the deadline is March 26!

 About the R&D Forum 
The 59th annual Research and Development Forum will feature a digital Student Showcase and a live-streamed Pitch Finals competition called The Next Great Idea. 
Now is the time to enter student work and innovative ideas. This is one of the district’s biggest student showcases of the year, highlighting student innovation and excellence in the areas of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
