Artwork created by students across the district is featured in the newest districtwide virtual quarterly art show.

This month, six students had their artwork selected to be on display as part of the statewide Board of Education recognition month. Board members were presented with a few tokens of thanks, including several pieces of art created by Shawnee Mission students, which were featured in the board room. Selections from the districtwide quarterly art shows were printed on a custom set of stationery for Board members to use.

New shows featuring student artwork will be displayed digitally on a quarterly basis online and at the Center for Academic Achievement.
The shows provide an opportunity to recognize the effort and achievement of students and teachers. It also provides the learning experience to students of sharing and displaying artwork beyond their classroom.
