Sixth and Seventh Graders Invited to Summer Signature Programs

A summer of trying new interests, exploration, and discovery is ahead for students enrolled in the SMSD Summer Enrichment program. Current SMSD sixth and seventh graders are invited to enroll in summer opportunities with our Signature Programs. Culinary Arts, Biotechnology, Public Safety, Health Science, and Engineering activities are available through Summer Enrichment. Enrolment is open, offering educational opportunities to learn and engage during the summer months. The program is for currently enrolled SMSD students from Pre-kindergarten through seventh grade.  Click here for a full program guide and enrollment instructions on page 6.

Summer Enrichment will be held at Westridge Middle School, 9300 Nieman Road, with the satellite Signature Program courses available to 6th and 7th graders at the Center for Academic Achievement, 8200 W. 71st St. Classes are offered from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include a lunch period from June 21 to July 2 and July 12-23. No classes will be offered the week of July 5. Tuition is $95 per week.

At Westridge, students will spend time exploring art, music, technology, science and nature, sports, and more.

Due to COVID-19 protocol, the 2021 program is adjusted to one session per week. An early care option is available, but late care will not be available for the 2021 program.
