With both a physical and virtual gallery, the Shawnee Mission West Patrons’ Gallery continues to feature works of art for the community.
Throughout October, the gallery will feature the work of new art teachers at Shawnee Mission West. Click here to see the virtual gallery.
“We are so looking forward to meeting you, sharing in your journey and working with you this year,” gallery director Melinda Heaton said. “We’re in this together and will grow stronger as a community.”
The physical gallery is only open from 7:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Fridays. Visitors need to check in at the office and indicate they want to visit the gallery. Masks and social distancing are required
The exhibit features photography, drawing, ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, graphic design, and painting.
