Shawnee Mission School District
Friday, February 12, 2021, will be a remote learning day for elementary students in the Shawnee Mission School District (SMSD). This change is being made because of sustained extremely low wind chill temperatures throughout the day. (Secondary students are already scheduled for a remote learning day.)
All elementary students are being asked to bring devices and any necessary materials home, in order to have a full remote learning day tomorrow. As a reminder, Monday, February 15 is Presidents’ Day, and Tuesday, February 16 is scheduled as a Professional Learning day, so all SMSD schools will be closed both days.
