A new art show has launched virtually to highlight the work of student artists and art teachers from across the entire district.
The art show can be viewed here.
New shows featuring student art will be displayed digitally on a quarterly basis online and at the Center for Academic Achievement. Abby Howe, visual arts coordinator, introduced the virtual art show to the Board of Education on Monday, October 26, 2020.
“This show provides wonderful opportunity to recognize the effort and achievement of students and teachers,” Howe shared. “The show exemplifies the incredible creativity of our teachers through the process of creating lesson plans, to inspire students to produce this amazing work.”
It also provides an opportunity for students to share their artwork with an audience beyond their classroom. These district art shows will feature students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade across the district.
