Shawnee Mission culinary arts and hospitality students are lending a hand to food preparations and are taking orders now for their annual Everything But the Turkey sale here: https://everythingbuttheturkey.com/.
The sale includes:
Pies
Buttered Rolls
Stuffing
Gravy
Cinnamon Rolls
Breakfast Casserole
English Muffins
Macaroni and Cheese
Pecan Coffee Cake
Pumpkin Swiss Roll
Roasted Butternut Squash
Green Bean Casserole
Cranberry Sauce
Orders are accepted until 12 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2021. Orders can be picked up in time for Thanksgiving. Two pickup sessions are available:
2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on November 24
8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on November 25
Pickup will be at the Center for Academic Achievement, 8200 W. 71st St.
Meal items are being prepared by Shawnee Mission culinary arts students and high school students enrolled in family and consumer science courses. Funds are used to support culinary arts programming.
The Broadmoor Bistro is Shawnee Mission’s student-run restaurant for Culinary Arts and Hospitality Signature Program students. The students host meals throughout the school year. Click here for more information about the Broadmoor Bistro.
