Learn more about non-teaching opportunities in the Shawnee Mission School District at the upcoming job fair.
The job fair will be held:
3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, August 4
at Shawnee Mission West, 8800 W. 85th St.
This will be for positions such as Operations and Maintenance, Food Service, Paraeducators and Aides, Information and Communication Technology, and bus drivers.
Learn about the benefits of these positions, like school hours, paid holidays, health insurance, retirement plans, and paid sick leave. Shawnee Mission employees also can utilize the district fitness center and health clinic at the Center for Academic Achievement.
At the job fair, attendees can walk through the application process and complete a quick screen interview.
COVID-19 vaccinations will also be available onsite for anyone attending. Those will be distributed with help from the Johnson County Department of Health and Environment. All of the open positions give new staff a chance to work with kids and help them achieve their personal best.
