The Board of Education honored a new All Star.
Crystal Brower, Kindergarten teacher at Shawanoe was names a Shawnee Mission All Star at their recent October meeting. Click here to see a video about Brower.
Dr. Abby Morgan, principal at Shawanoe, helped introduce Brower at the meeting saying she truly inspires the staff, students and families she serves.
“She is passionate about her work and relentlessly pursues new and innovative ways to help each individual student,” Morgan added.
Morgan was joined by sixth-grader Kadi Jatta who thanked Brower for always believing in her.
“She is an amazing teacher who always finds ways to help students,” Jatta expressed to the Board of Education.
