Shawnee Mission School District
Shawnee Mission School District leaders recently welcomed elected officials to the Broadmoor Bistro at the Center for Academic Achievement to share the district’s legislative platform.
Attendees were greeted by Deputy Superintendent Dr. Joe Gilhaus and Board of Education President Heather Ousley. Chief Communications Officer David A. Smith detailed the legislative platform, shared news about the district, and facilitated a question-and-answer session with the elected officials.
The 2022 legislative platform was adopted by the Board of Education on October 25, 2021, and can be viewed at this link.
