ThoughtExchange on ESSER III Funds

ThoughtExchange on ESSER III Funds
Shawnee Mission School District

The Shawnee Mission School District seeks community input on how the unallocated Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER III) funds should be spent. To gather feedback, we're using a tool called ThoughtExchange. All of our voices matter, so your participation is crucial and valued.

You'll be asked to respond to one open-ended question, consider and assign stars to some of the ideas shared by others (20 to 30 is ideal), and learn what's important to the group.

Your thoughts and stars are confidential. You can come back as often as you'd like to participate and, in fact, we ask that you do come back to star some of the new ideas shared since you first participated. The ratings will help us understand the most important areas to focus on. This ThoughtExchange will be open until 12 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021.

If you need technical help, please call ThoughtExchange at 1-800-361-9027 ext. 4 or email help@thoughtexchange.com

ESSER III is federal funding provided through the American Rescue Plan Act signed into law in March 2021. These funds are provided to address the impact of COVID-19 on elementary and secondary schools.

The Shawnee Mission School District engaged stakeholders in a comprehensive process to develop a plan for previous ESSER funds. The plan can be found here.

Thank you in advance for your help and input.
