Shawnee Mission School District
The Center for Academic Achievement welcomed problem-solvers from across the district to compete in their final contest of the year.
Working in teams, students worked to solve algebra, geometry, ratio, fraction, and logic challenges.
Family members, friends, teachers, and principals filled the Board of Education room to watch and cheer on the competitors.
The following schools celebrated first prize honors:
Fourth Grade: Oak Park Carpenter
Fifth Grade: Prairie
Sixth Grade: Mill Creek
The sixth grade team from Mill Creek earned the top prize with a perfect score.
