Some Pre-K Spots Open for 3-Year-Olds
Shawnee Mission School District

The Shawnee Mission School District has a limited number of no-fee, pre-kindergarten openings remaining. The district is continuing to enroll four-year-old students and has opened up a small number of spots for three-year-old students as well.

To qualify, children must be either three years of age or four years of age on or before Aug. 31 and they must meet one or more of the eligibility requirements for no-fee pre-k (you can find a list of those on our webpage). Also, all children must be independent with toileting (fully potty-trained with no more than one accident within a two-week time frame).

Openings are available at limited sites. Apache, Crestview, Highlands, Roesland, and Rosehill elementary schools are accepting three-year-old enrollment. All openings are in the afternoon session held from 12:25 to 3:10 p.m. If you are new to the district, click here to begin your online enrollment.
