We are hiring! Shawnee Mission School District (SMSD) is one of the best school districts in the state and now there’s even more reason to join our team!
SMSD is offering signing and retention incentives for a few critical positions. This opportunity starts November 14, 2023, and continues through June 30, 2024.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
- All new Center-Based Paraeducators, 2nd Shift Custodians, and Food Service Managers hired on or after November 14, 2023, will receive a $300 signing incentive.
- All new 1st Shift Custodians, Resource & Pre-K Paraeducators, Food Service Assistants, ELL & Pre-K Aides hired on or after November 14, 2023, will receive a $150 signing incentive.
- All Center-Based Paraeducators, 2nd Shift Custodians, and Food Service Managers will receive a $10/day retention payment for days they physically work.
- All 1st Shift Custodians, Resource & Pre-K Paraeducators, Food Service Assistants, ELL & Pre-K Aides will receive a $5/day retention payment for days they physically work.
