Join Us in Celebrating the Class of 2026

As ONE Shawnee Mission we invite everyone to join us in celebrating the graduating class of 2026.

More than 1,800 seniors will be celebrated as part of Shawnee Mission commencement ceremonies.

This is a tremendous class of Shawnee Mission seniors, celebrating numerous accomplishments at the local, state, and national level including, but not limited to national merit semifinalists, NASA Hunch honorees, National NJROTC competition qualifiers, Career and Technical Education Scholars, national and state journalism award winners. They’ve earned seals of biliteracy, Kansas State High School Activities Association individual and team titles.

A considerable majority of the class has earned one or more Market Value Assets (MVAs), with the count still growing as final numbers are calculated. Students earn an MVA by completing a client-connected project, earning the equivalent of nine or more college credits, earning an industry-recognized credential, completing an internship, or participating in an entrepreneurial experience.

Shawnee Mission congratulates all of these students, as well as the educators, family members, and friends who helped them reach this milestone.

With tremendous pride, commencement reminds us of all we accomplish together as a school district…Because Kids.
