The Shawnee Mission School District Strategic Planning process continues.

Recently, the Strategic Planning Steering Committee held a two and a half-day workshop to develop a draft mission statement, beliefs, strategies, objectives, and parameters for the district strategic planning process. Click here to view the draft document developed by the Steering Committee.

Now that this is complete, the next step for Strategic Planning will be the development of Action Teams. These teams will work to create action plans for the strategies developed by the steering committee. Community input is essential to the entire Strategic Planning process and we invite you to consider applying to join an Action Team. If you are interested, please use this link to apply.

We anticipate a lot of interest in participation and regret that not everyone who signs up may be able to participate on these teams.

If you have previously applied to serve on other Strategic Planning committees, you will still need to fill out this form to apply to serve on an Action Team.
