Thomas’ video, “Your Future Depends On It” was selected for 3rd place in the Turnpike’s “Put The Brakes on Fatalities” video contest. This week marks National Teen Driver Safety Week. The video contest promotes awareness about dangerous driving habits.
In her video, Brogan shares a powerful message about texting and driving. She shared that she hopes to make an impact and raise awareness with her video.
This marks the third year in a row a Shawnee Mission West student has won in the contest.
