Shawnee Mission School District

The Shawnee Mission School District and Caring for Kids kicked off a new year of partnership this week to support Shawnee Mission students.

Principals and community partners who take part in Caring for Kids met this week at the Center for Academic Achievement to make plans for the new year.

In five years of partnership, 100 organizations have connected with Shawnee Mission schools through Caring for Kids and have completed 633 projects to support school and principal goals. During the event, attendees shared success stories and began to develop strategies for accomplishing goals.

Superintendent Mike Fulton thanked the group for their work and all they do to make our community stronger.
