Debra Raffety, Rosehill Elementary Music teacher, was awarded 99.7 The Point “First Class Teacher” of the month in December.
Raffety was nominated by a parent, exclaiming, “Ms. Raffety is very creative engaging with her students and always goes above and beyond, giving so much extra for her kids.”
Each month the radio station’s morning show surprises one deserving teacher to say “Thank You!"
Winning teachers receive a $250 gift card and other "goodies" provided by the radio station. Students, parents, and members of the community can nominate a teacher stating what makes them a 'First Class Teacher'.
