Indian Hills Middle School will be named a High Performing School for 2018-19 by the Kansas Administrators of Middle School Association (KAMSA).

The honor is given to recognize a school that has demonstrated growth in one of the five criteria that is part of the Kansas State Department of Education’s (KSDE) 21st Century Accreditation Model. Indian Hills demonstrated growth in the area of responsive culture.

“Indian Hills Middle School prides itself on having a responsive culture to meet the needs of all students,” staff members wrote in their application to KAMSA. “Our Building Leadership Team at Indian Hill reviews our building goals regularly and, together with the instructional coach, student improvement and administrative teams, guides the professional learning our teachers need most to continue to engage all students as active participants in their education.”
