Shawnee Mission School District
The last day of school in the Shawnee Mission School District for the 2018-19 school year will be May 23, 2019.
The last day for the following groups will be:
- Seniors – Friday, May 10.
- Pre-kindergarten – Wednesday, May 22.
- Kindergarten through grade 11 – Thursday, May 23. This will be an early dismissal day.
- Teachers – Friday, May 24.
For graduating seniors, this calendar is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances that would cause them to miss a day of school between now and mid-May. Seniors would have to make up any days that are missed between now and the end of school. For everyone else, this schedule could potentially need to be altered if more than one day is missed between now and the end of the year.
