Shawnee Mission School District
This Saturday, March 28, 2020, a mobile food pantry will be available at Merriam Park Elementary School. The pantry will be open from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the school, 6100 Mastin in Merriam.
The pantry is free and open to everyone. The pantry provides drive-through distribution and no identification is necessary.
If you are attending, follow these steps to protect yourself and others:
- Practice physical distancing- staying at least 6 feet apart from other people
- Wash hands after handling distributed bags and food items
- Do not touch your face
The pantry is offered through a partnership between Merriam Park Elementary School, Harvesters Community Food Network, and Caring for Kids partner New City Church.
