An evening of musical performances recently brought students from five Shawnee Mission high schools together.

Band members shared their marching performances at the Shawnee Mission School District Marching Festival. This annual tradition gives these musicians an opportunity to share their work with members of the community and one another.

Marching bands performed shows inspired by themes such as escaping from Alcatraz, overcoming obstacles, Mardi Gras, Star Trek, and jazz in Kansas City.
