Shawnee Mission School District
Students at Shawnee Mission North High School will soon present the musical “Newsies” in the school auditorium.
The show is based on a movie musical about a newsboy strike in New York City in the late 1800s. Click here to see a preview created by the students of KNDN Productions at SM North.
“Newsies” will be performed at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25, Friday, Oct. 26, and Saturday, Oct. 27, with an additional matinee performance at 2 p.m. Oct. 27 at Shawnee Mission North, 7401 Johnson Drive. General admission tickets are $10.
