School-Based Clinic at Merriam Park Open in the Summer

In collaboration with Health Partnership Clinic (HPC), the Shawnee Mission School District’s school-based clinic at Merriam Park Elementary provides medical, dental, and behavioral health services to all Shawnee Mission School District students. 

The clinic will continue to be open to Shawnee Mission School District students and their siblings this summer. Click here to see a video about the clinic.  

Tuesday afternoon walk in hours are from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The medical provider performs the following:

·       Sick visits

·       School physicals

·       Well-child check-ups

·       Immunizations

·       Lab/blood work

·       Asthma care

·       Strep/flu testing

·       Behavioral health care

·       Dental cleanings and check-up during medical visits

·       Nutritional guidance

·       Annual sports physicals

Wednesday morning appointments are scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  The medical provider performs medication management for behavioral health for established patients only. Patients must be referred by HPC behavioral health provider.

The clinic is open only to Shawnee Mission School District students and their siblings.
