A rainy forecast didn’t stop Shawnee Mission North from holding its annual homecoming parade.
Students and staff proved the show must go on by holding parade focused on the theme “It’s Show Time.”
Throughout the parade, students were dressed in costumes and shared floats they had built in tribute to stories from the stage and screen. Participants represented a variety of student activities, clubs, teams, and organizations as they traveled the neighborhood parade route on Friday, Sept. 27.
The school’s homecoming games and homecoming crown ceremony had taken place the day before due to inclement weather.
