Shawnee Mission Northwest Plant Sale
Shawnee Mission School District

Environmental Education students at Shawnee Mission Northwest High School have opened up their greenhouse, offering plants and flowers in their yearly plant sale.

The sale includes tomatoes, peppers, herbs, annuals, perennials (for shade and full-sun flowerbeds), and hanging baskets.

The preparation for the sale provides a hands-on learning opportunity for students who grow and learn about all of the different types of plants during class, instructor Stacy Robins said.

The sale continues at Shawnee Mission Northwest, 12701 W. 67th Street, on the following dates and times:

3:15 to 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, May 1, and May 8

9 a.m. to 6 p.m.on Saturday, April 27 and May 4

11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 28 and May 5

Funds from the plant sale support the Environmental Education class at Shawnee Mission Northwest and future plant sales.
