Shawnee Mission School District is Hiring Food Services Staff

Food Services Hiring
Shawnee Mission School District

Patricia Juarez is a food service assistant at Roesland Elementary School, and as the mother of three, it is the perfect job for her. She arrives to work after she gets her children to school, and her shift ends in time for her to be home for her children after school.

Sharon Foster is the food service manager at Horizons High School. A mother of four sons, she wanted to go back to work when her youngest started school 18 years ago.

Mike Shepherd has been working in food service for Shawnee Mission School District for more than 10 years in a variety of positions and schools. The schedule works perfectly for his family and he enjoys his work.

Food Services has open positions and is currently seeking qualified applicants. “We have an amazing team,” said Nancy Coughenour, Director of Foodservice. “We truly enjoy nurturing the students not only by preparing delicious food, but also by giving them a friendly smile as they go through the lines. Our staff wants them to feel cared for – because they are!”
