Shawnee Mission School District
Familiar faces and soon-to-be familiar faces filled the Center for Academic Achievement on Monday as office staff members from across the district officially started the 2018-19 school year.
The staff members first gathered for a welcome breakfast event, supported by district community partners Mainstreet Credit Union. The hosts and Dr. Mike Fulton, superintendent, and Brad Stratton, board of education president, greeted the attendees and thanked them for all they do to serve parents, teachers, and students.
Following greetings and door prizes, provided by the event sponsors, the office staff members then began attending presentations and getting ready for the start of the school year.
