Shawnee Mission School District
Students and staff celebrated the home where the Raiders roam as the school hosted a Homecoming parade on Oct. 4.
With the theme “HoCo on the Range,” many parade participants donned bandanas and cowboy hats as they traveled along 107th Street.
The parade featured student activities and organizations, as well as athletic teams. The high school also welcomed students from feeder schools in the South area to join the festivities. Later that day, the school crowned homecoming royalty and cheered the home team at the homecoming football game.
