The Kansas Administrators of Middle Schools Association (KAMSA) recognized Indian Hills Middle School as a finalist for Kansas Middle School of the Year. Additionally, the organization also honored the school as one of KAMSA’s High Performing Schools.

This marks the third consecutive year Indian Hills was recognized as a finalist for this honor.

“Both awards are a testament to the strong and vibrant teachers, students, and community that continually strives to meet the Indian Hills mission of engaging, empowering, and exciting our students to achieve at high levels now and always,” Blake Revelle, principal said.

The High Performing School honor recognizes growth in one of the five criteria that is a part of the Kansas State Department of Education’s (KSDE) 21st Century Accreditation Model. Indian Hills demonstrated growth in the area of responsive culture. The criteria includes relationships, relevance, responsive culture, results, and rigor.
