Shawnee Mission broadcasting students will present live broadcasts of Shawnee Mission high school basketball games this Friday, February 14. Viewers will be able to watch games between Shawnee Mission Northwest and Shawnee Mission West. The girls game begins at approximately 5:30 p.m. and can be watched by clicking here. The boys game begins at approximately at 7 p.m. and can be watched by clicking here.
The livestream links will be posted on www.smsd.org and shared on the district’s Facebook and Twitter feeds before the games begin.
Students work alongside members of the district Communications Department to experience and learn the specifics of a live event. Read more about their work here.
Students will also share a live broadcast of girls and boys basketball games between Shawnee Mission North and Shawnee Mission East on February 28. The livestream links will be shared during the week of February 24.
