The next Shawnee Mission School District informational forum focused on facilities will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15 in the Shawnee Mission West High School Media Center, 8800 W. 85th Street.
The forums are an opportunity for stakeholders to learn more about the planning process, the big picture of school facility needs and the preliminary list of priorities, including specific information related to each attendance area.
Parents, students, staff, and community members are invited to attend any of the forums. They are hosted in an open house format and patrons may attend the event that best fits their schedule. View video invitation.
Individual feedback will be gathered at these forums and will be brought back to the District Facilities Task Force for review. Information from that process will be provided to the Superintendent for consideration in recommending a Bond issue proposal to the Board of Education.

October 22, 2019 – SM South High School Media Center, 5:00-6:30 p.m.
