2025 Staff Art Show

The staff art show at the Center for Academic Achievement (CAA) is returning this school year! You are invited to submit an original work of art to be included. Shawnee Mission has a tradition of hosting staff art shows and the tradition was re-established in the 2023-2024 school year.

Opportunity for Monetary Prize

Those who submit artwork to the show have the chance to earn a monetary prize, through the Shawnee Mission Education Foundation

One artist will receive a $250 personal recognition and a $250 grant in support of their building’s art department. Their selected work of art will join the district’s staff art collection, which will be featured in the CAA gallery space annually from May-August.

Staff who wish for their artwork to be included in the staff show but do not want their artwork considered for selection to join the district’s permanent staff art collection can designate their artwork as “display only.”

Timeline
