Bond Information
On Aug. 24, 2026 Dr. David Stubblefield, deputy superintendent, and Judd Remmers, director of facilities, presented a report from Strategic Plan Action Team 6.1.2. This team was tasked with providing the Board of Education with a recommended list of potential facility enhancements within the limits of a minimal or no tax increase bond referendum. The presentation linked below provides a review of their work and their bond referendum proposal to be considered by the Board of Education for review. No action was taken following the conclusion of the presentation.
The Shawnee Mission School District is strategically focusing resources on state-of-the-art facilities to meet its mission and objectives. On March 23, 2026 Deputy Superintendent Dr. David Stubblefield presented to the Board of Education and community about this ongoing work and how it might inform a potential bond referendum.
