Shawnee Mission School District social workers utilize strengths-based approaches to improve the quality of life of families and impact the education success of students.  Social workers assist and support families in setting and attaining goals aimed at self-sufficiency and stability, and provide and connect families to comprehensive services in the school, neighborhood, and community.
